Tania Hussain
Tania Hussain, our Director at Turning Point holds an MSc in Psychology and is an Orton Gilling- ham specialist. Her role extends beyond leadership as she actively engages with the students in one-on-one sessions. Witnessing them learn and grow into independent individuals brings her immense joy. Tania employs innovative tools and techniques to enhance students' executive functioning skills, including the cultivation of attention and focus—a crucial set of academic and life skills vital for effective learning. Outside of work, Tania enjoys music, sports, spending time with friends, reading, and games. Her vision for Turning Point is to create a safe and inclusive environment where children are accepted for who they are. She strives to impart the skills necessary for our students to lead independent and fulfilling lives

Ayesha Ali
Ayesha Ali, our dedicated Program Coordinator, holds a Masters in Special Education, along with certificates in Childhood Communication Impairment and Humanistic Counselling and Psychotherapy. Her love for working with children stems from the joy she finds in helping them communicate in their unique ways and ensuring they feel heard, understood, calm, and safe. Ayesha's vision for Turning Point is to create a happy and peaceful environment for kids, parents, and co-workers, with a focus on growth and inclusion.

Yumna Khanum
Meet Yumna Khanum, our Program Coordinator at Turning Point. With a background in Clinical and Counseling Psychology, Yumna brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. She's passionate about innovative teaching methods, always striving to think outside the box to en-sure every student's success. Her vision for Turning Point is clear: to foster growth and advocate for inclusive schools, making a positive impact on the educational landscape.

Irfan Anwar
Irfan Anwar, a key member of our Turning Point team, brings his wealth of expertise as a Sports Trainer. He holds a Masters in Health and Physical Education. His vision for Turning Point is to create an inclusive and empowering environment where every special needs child can unlock their full potential and establish a strong foundation for a healthy and active life.

Maryam Gillani

Maryam is our dedicated Speech Therapist at Turning Point. With an impressive array of qualifications, including an MSc. in Psychology, a Diploma in Speech Therapy, and a PGD in Computer Sciences, Maryam brings a wealth of expertise to our team. She finds immense joy in creating a positive learning environment for our students. Her vision is to share her wealth of knowledge and experience with new therapists, ensuring they excel in conducting effective sessions and fosteringa healthy learning environment. Maryam's commitment extends to her colleagues, as she aims to infuse positivity into the entire team.

Maryam Ayoob

Maryam Ayoob serves as both an Academic Resource and Behavior Therapist. She holds an MPhil in Clinical Psychology. Her passion lies in nurturing students' autonomy, as she derives immense satisfaction from witnessing them gain the ability to function independently in their daily lives.

Sitara Khalid

Sitara Khalid is a versatile member of our Turning Point team. Holding a BS Honors in Applied Psychology and a Diploma in Clinical Psychology, Sitara serves as both a Special Needs Trainer and an Arts Teacher. Sitara's vision for Turning Point is to create a positive and uplifting atmosphere for the students and colleagues alike.

Uzma Siddiq
Uzma Siddiq is a pivotal member of our Turning Point team. With an MS in Psychology and an ongoing Ph.D. in Psychology, Uzma serves as a dedicated Behavioural Therapist and Special Needs Teacher.

Nosheen Nida

Nosheen Nida is functional skills expert, teaching our students various skills including cooking, sports, and academics. Her expertise also extends to behavior modification.

Nasif Ismail

Meet Nasif Afzal Ismail, a multifaceted member of our team at Turning Point. Nasif holds a Bachelor's in Sciences and wears many hats within our institution, serving as a teacher, adminstrator, website manager/developer and blogger. He finds joy in teaching children and believes it's a delightful experience. He aspires for our school to be recognized as a center of excellence in special needs education, setting a high standard in the field.

Hafiz Muhammad Adam Dar

Muhammad Adam Dar serves as our dedicated Administrator at Turning Point, holding a BA in Political Science. Hafiz brings integrity and a strong sense of responsibility to his role. His vision for Turning Point is to work diligently and honestly, with the hope that his contributions will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our school.

Ghaniya B. is a multi-talented member of our Turning Point team with Bachelor's degrees in Ce- ramic Design, Psychology, and Fine Arts. Ghaniya plays a pivotal role as our Pottery Instructor, bringing a unique blend of creativity and psychology to her teaching. She aspires to create an environment where children can heal, grow, love, and learn.
